STUDYING AWAY

Well, because we all have separate blogs now, this blog doesn't get used very much, I'm going to try and change that. I thought I'd start at least writing on this, and maybe throw some pictures on this every once in awhile.

So I am now studying my brains out for the largest dental test block that I'll have had up to date. Wish me luck!!

Just some random pictures that are my favorite of Jase and "The Parents" of the crazy man. I figured I'd throw something up for the heck of it.

In the Newspaper

Hey, little spot light on the Kendall's first big win on the Dixie high School Varsity Tennis team. She is in the newspaper (see copy). Kendall was also picked to be an ambassador for a Japanese foreign student. An all boys school from Japan was visiting her school. Kendall was told that these students are so disciplined that they won't even go to the bathroom unless they are given permission. So we quickly made a sign for her to take to school that read " take a leak anytime you want to", so she could flash it at them. ( probably would have been more affect if we could have written it in the proper translation). Instead I think they interpreted as "take a peak at me anytime you want to when I'm going to the bathroom". I wonder what the Japanese boys will be telling there parents about American students. OK a little of this I added but it was mostly true. Anyway, Kendall is off to a good start at school. Tomorrow she and I are going to the BYU / UCLA football game. Mom is driving up with us but opting to go shopping..... poor Grandpa Kimball must be discussed and turning over in his grave. Chad is off to Lake Powell for the weekend and I'm sure taking his biology to study between wake boards runs. He seems to like the college life and we do see him occasionally....... when he needs money. He promises me that his social calender is equally balanced with his study calender!

We get to see Nikki & Kacey on the weekends for a Friday or Sat. date night. Then they are quickly back to studying. Temple University just sent Nikki an invitation for an interview.

We don't get to see Kyle & Amy much cuz they are always up North and will be moving to Heber permanently soon. Kyle is going to be competing in a St. George Triathlon next week so that will be fun to go watch. Ryan & Meagan seem to be hard at it in Boston. We talked to them and saw them on the computer web cam the other night. Mom & I are two weeks into our working out program and have at least got through the being sore time. Boy is it harder the older you get. Well that about wraps it up from St. George central where the weather right now is perfect, we're sliding into the 80 degree weather ...... and not a moment to soon.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA!

Happy Birthday Grandma!!! I hope you have the most fantastic birthday anyone has ever had- because you deserve it. I love you so much and wish I was there to celebrate your day with you! I'm having lots of fun in Boston, but I miss playing with you. Love Jase

FINAL FOUR FANATICS

We had the trip of a lifetime. The boys in our family were able to fly out to San Antonio for the FINAL FOUR and CHAMPIONSHIP game this year. We had a blast!! From meeting tons of celebrities, to eating our brains out down on the River Walk, to being at one of the most intense overtime championship games against Kansas and Memphis with Kansas pulling it out. CONGRATULATION KYLE & AMY

We just wanted to say congrats to the new parents!! We are so excited that little Brielle is here. For all those who are anxious to know- Brielle was born March 21, 2008 (today) at 2:06 AM and weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and is 19.5 inches long. Baby and Mom are doing fine!

MOMSERS

Hey guyz...This is a quick response to Nikki, to let her know we all made it home safe and sound. I think the bigger worry is YOU, driving at 4 in the morning through Mexico!! Are you kidding?? Drink lots of Dr. Pepper!! Only from the bottle! It sounds like you guyz have had quite the experience.... I'm envious, it sounds really cool. Are you two sure you haven't changed your minds and want to go into obstetrics instead??? That is so awesome you got to see a baby being born.!!....As for around here..things are pretty quiet. Brielle is still hanging tight to Amy and hasn't made an appearance. The doc is going to induce her next Tuesday, March 25, if nothing happens til then. We are all doing well, the trip was great and its back to real life. Dad's back in the yard, and I have spent the whole week just trying to unpack, and oh my goodness, you should see my pile of laundry! I wish you still liked doing it...sigh.... I need you! Today, I drive to the orthodontist in Orem... You can imagine the mood I'm in. Dad is steering clear of me! WEll, drive carefully and we will see you Friday night, or Saturday morn. Adios!

Hey familia!!
Where the freak are pictures of my new neice?? I hope the family made it home safe since we didnt get one blog comment from them the whole cruise. Maybe there was just too much fun going on. Well, Kace and I are having fun in Mexico. We have been job shadowing dentistas at the hostpital for the past two days. We got to give a person an injection and do a cleaning on the whole mouth with another person. We also got to prepare an malgama(metal filling) for someone. They are pretty trusting here. Today, since the dentists were gone (because its holy week), Kace and I went into the labor delivery area and got to stand at the feet of a lady getting a C section. Holy Cow, that was absolutetly nuts! They are are slicing through this ladies belly and all the layers. Then they get to her uterus where blood is just pouring out. Next thing we know there is this little fuzzy head just right there in her belly. THe doctor just pulls the baby out by its head and kinda wiggles him until he is all the way out. AAHH, i cant believe we just got to stand there and watch that. It made Kace and I feel a little uncomfortable though, because at the begining the lady was just laying there naked, spread eagle, as they did some stuff to her lower end. Haha, it was gross but interesting. Mom, now i definitely have empathy for you since you had to do that 5 whole times. WOW, nice work. Later on today we went to an orphanage. It was way fun, but sad to leave. We got to play with all the kids at this little park. One of the girls kept holding my hand and calling me mama. Another girl had a crush on kacey and was disappointed to hear that i was his novia. They were all very very cute and gave us kisses when we left. Well, it has been pretty neat down here. Tomorrow we are going to San Carlos, the beach, to just hang. Then Friday we are waking up at 3:30 in the morning to get out the door by 4 (5 Utah time) to go home. Man, hopefully we make it home safe, that is pretty darn early for a 17 hour car ride home, our eyes are going to be rollin. Anyway, we´ll see ya guys on Saturday (and hopefully Brielle too!) Hey Family-
Well Kacey and i just got back from a big weekend. We went to Rascal Flatts, got our engagement pictures taken, and i ordered Kacey's ring (black ceramic (or something like that)-its sweet!). I also got to go to Amy Carpenter's baby shower and we went and played with Kacey's family. Then today (monday) Kacey and I ditched classes and rocked it at snowboarding! Thanks Chad for letting us use your pass, board, boots, etc. Kacey and I had so much fun! I'm surprised how fast Kacey picked it up. He's been like 3 times in his whole life and he was already getting higher on the jumps than me (he's also almost got the carving down too). We also tried out some little rails....anyway, super fun!!!Now we're just waiting for Mexico to come so we can finally get out of school and breathe for a little bit! Love you family and hope you 4 cruisers out there are livin' it up!!
p.s.- Dad can Kacey and i borrow the portable dvd player for our road trip to Mexico? We got a good 17 hour car ride there and a 17 hour car ride back.....so let me know soon!!!love you!!!

Jase's Baby Blessing Day!!

Here is a slideshow of some of the pictures we took with everyone over at our place after Little Jase was blessed. Thank you everyone for coming and being there for it. I'm glad everything turned out and Jase was good through the blessing.

Hey, what the heck..we have been writing you guys emails for dayz now and no one is responding!! Are you just having too much fun without us.... Holy Cow! I swear that little boy gets cuter by the day! I love that left corner one of him that Ryan just posted! Chad and Kenz, how you two hanging in the there without the parents? Is life just one big party right now? Well, i know my week has kinda been a party. For some weird reason i've hardly had any homework this week, so i'm trying to party it up. It would be a little bit easier if my 2 older brothers would answer their phone, or actually be in Cedar to play with me. Kyle i don't want to hear any complaining out of your mouth, i called you to play and you couldn't....yes not my fault, yours!Anyway im going to Ryan, Kyle, and Kacey's innermural basketball game to watch Kacey since the rest of you little slackers are gone. Cross your fingers he can run a team by himself. I just went and shot some hoops with him at the gym to get him warmed up and just trust me CROSS YOUR FINGERS! haha! Love you all!

Here's the latest on Jase. We finally got a couple grins on camera. We've yet to get a full on smile though... soon, very soon.

The bed picture with Meagan and Jase cracked me up. I took that in the morning after getting up to eat breakfast... Can you guess who OWNS us?? He's 1/12 of the size of Meagan and he has 7/8 of the bed... Complete Domination!! ha ha. (if your wondering why I'm not in the picture... he kicked me out already around 6:00.) Meag's holding on to her edge though!!

It's been a while since ANYONE has gotten on this thing. I thought I'd just update people with our exciting lives. We just finished the Sixth Season of "24"... so we are able to move on with our lives now. Those seasons suck you right in and they run your life. Now that we have seen them all up to date, there is no other way to go other than to do something else... wahoo!!

I have just been going to school down at Dixie State College, finishing up my last 2 undergraduate classes. Most people with my number of years of college are already doctors... needless to say, I'm a little behind. I am so excited to be down to my last 2 classes before dental school though. I can't wait to actually get to that point in my life where I will be learning about something that I can go out and apply in real life. I'm stoked for that!!


Jase is doing great!! He is the cutest little guy around. He loves smiling at us and showing off his big blueish... brownish... hazel...-ish eyes. We're not sure what color they are yet, but we know he likes showing them off... especially around... oh say, 4:00 in the morning!! Meagan doesn't know I have ear plugs next to the bed (she's always wondering how I sleep right through the entire scene). She's scared if she weren't around, Jase would spend all night screaming his eyeballs out. Actually, he's been doing really well, and all 3 of us have been getting some good sleep.


To keep this kinda short, I was just wanting to put something on our blog... it's been stagnent for quite some time now. The pictures are of me and Jase (duh!), and the other is of Meag and Jase cooking breakfast for dinner. Kendall got Meag a Waffle maker for Christmas. Time of day holds no boundaries for when we use that thing... its been a nice little addition to the kitchen (Meagan loves iHop and especially Waffles... nice goin' Kens). Can you see the strawberry container being heated up in the microwave in the background... ummm umm!
